MOHAMAD IBRAHIM SHAIK DAWOOD

Ibrahim has more than 30 year’s corporate experience, covering functions as diversified as human resources, operations, and business planning and sourcing.

 

He holds a Master of Human Resource Management from Curtin University of Technology Business School, Australia. He is a DDI certified facilitator for leadership and workforce development programs and new Targeted Selection trainer. In addition, he is also a Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching certified coach and ACTA certified by the Institute of Adult Learning (IAL).

 

Areas of HR experience and expertise include:

o leadership development and coaching;

o total rewards programs;

o performance management & talent/succession management;

o organizational effectiveness;

o human resource due diligence and post-merger business / cultural integration

o high performance work systems;

 

Companies worked in included Petrochemical Corporation of Singapore, DuPont, INVISTA, PETRONAS and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

 

Among his many roles, Ibrahim headed the regional Asia Pacific HR function for the Lycra* business within DuPont. And in 2009, Ibrahim headed the global HR function with the newly set-up PETRONAS Lubricants International with the acquisition of the Italian FL Selenia business. In this role, he supported the integration of the two entities with diverse culture and the business mission of targeting to be among the top five in the global lubricant industry.

 

Ibrahim has dedicated much of his career supporting individuals and organizations in their growth, with a particular focus on leadership in a multi-cultural, multi-generational workforce. He consults on cultural intelligence (CQ) and believes strongly in the development of human resources as one of the key resources of an organization. He has worked and lived in the USA, Italy, Malaysia and Singapore.
