Fook Mun has more than 25 years of HR consulting and operational experience in Asia leading and driving HR strategies and people related agendas across diverse industries including HR Consulting, IT, Life Sciences, Electronics and Specialty Chemicals. Companies worked in included PolyOne Corporation, National Starch & Chemical, Waters Corporation, Quantum, SAP, Towers Perrin and KPMG.


Other than Singapore, Fook Mun has worked and lived in the United States and China. He has held key leadership roles in the set-up, transition and transformation of businesses, including human resource management for global sales, start-up initiatives and implementation for human resource practices in China and other Asian cities. He has a deep understanding of the challenges in managing human capital (from talent management to employee engagement) in an ever-changing business landscape in Asia.


Having coached and facilitated leadership trainings to many middle and senior managers in Asia, Fook Mun has a good knowledge of how businesses operate in the region and possesses insights into the diverse cultural values and impacts on businesses.


He has a Honours degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.He is certified in the use of the Performax System (DISC) and Trimetrix System, and he is also ACTA certified by the Institute of Adult Learning (IAL) of Singapore.


Fook Mun is the founder and managing director of APEX Management Consulting. He consults on cultural intelligence (CQ) and also specializes in providing human resource consultancy services to companies that are committed to developing and enhancing their human resource capabilities.
